There are Ten Zen Bodytherapy Sessions (below).  Each session follows a recipe for unwrapping, aligning and balancing the human structure.

Each session is a continuation of the work done in the previous session.  For most people, one session per week seems to work best.  Each session lasts about one and a half hours.  There are custom exercises that will enhance the Bodytherapy that’s been done.

The goal of this work is to reverse the aging process and rejuvenate the person’s mind, body and spirit.  Many techniques are used to get the desired results: Nimmo’s Triggerpoint work, Rolfing, Feldenkrais, Berry Work and the Teachings of Tanouye Roshi. 

Kenny’s singular purpose is to provide freedom and well being for others. 

 First Session

  • To increase the ability to breath - vital capacity
  • To lengthen the waistline
  • To free both the shoulder and the pelvic girdles
  • To lengthen the spine
  • To create a feeling of well-being

Second Session

  • To change the way the weight goes through the body
  • To clear the feet of old aberrations
  • To oil the joints of the feet
  • To align the legs
  • To drop and widen the shoulders
  • To free the breathing even more
  • To soften the neck muscles 
  • To lengthen the back 
Third Session
  •  To clear the rib cage of old aberrations
  • To get more movement in the ribs
  • To establish where the lateral edge of the body is
  • To balance the lateral edge of the body
  • To further lengthen the waist line and the total body
  • To get more freedom in both  girdles
  • To leave the client feeling balanced, aligned with gravity, and serene
Fourth Session
  • To free the legs from the pelvis
  • To free the back from the pelvis
  • To get the pelvis wide from right to left
  • To get the front of the pelvis out more
  • To get the wings of the pelvis capable of more movement
  • To get the bottom and the top of the bottom balanced prior to next sessions
Fifth Session
  • To lengthen and flatten the midsection of the body
  • To give mobility in the pelvis
  • To give flexibility in the lumbar spine
  • To have the client feel tall, balanced, light and serene
  • To produce a core lift
Sixth Session
  • To produce more mobility in the pelvic movment
  • To free the legs further in their relationship to the pelvis
  • To widen the pelvis
  • To create the ability to walk "with the pelvis" or "through the pelvis" instead of walking "around the pelvis"
Seventh Session
  • To "put the head on the body"
  • To move the third cervical posterior
  • To create more softness and symmetry in the face and skull
  • To widen the face and cheek bones
  • To soften, lengthen and align the neck
  • To drop and widen the shoulders further
  • To create more space within the mouth
  • To create balance and lightness throughout the whole body
  • To lengthen the body as the head moves back over the body
Eighth Session
  • To complete the chosen girdle, either pelvis or shoulder
  • To get the core to lighten, lengthen and lift
  • to prepare the other girdle for its assitance in lifting the whole core
  • To get new freedom and lightness throughout the whole body
Ninth Session
  • To balance and align the remaining unworked girdle
  • To get more lightness and lift throughout
  • To move with extension and grace naturally, without awareness or trying
  • To align, balance and organize the entire body
Tenth Session
  • To put the whole body at ease and together
  • To integrate the good work of the other sessions into the mind, body and soul so that it will be retained and endure through the daily stress and strain of life
  • To give the body its optimum funtioning ability in movment and in stillness by preparing , balancing and aligning all of the soft tissue of the body in its relationship with itself and its environment
  • To take up more space in the universe and yet weigh less
  • To have a natual upward lift coming from the core of the body and going up through the sleeve
  • The bottom line: the goal is to have the clients experience their true nature; the ultimate experience of wellness
