First Session
- Scan the horse’s body for tension or tenderness
- Create a bodymap that charts the critical areas and the sequence of work
- Release tension in the surface musculature
Second Session
- Enhance the horse’s sense of stability and balance by releasing tension in the tendons and musculature of the legs
- Release restrictions in the superficial and midlevel connective tissue in the shoulders, pelvis and loins, and hip joints
Third Session
- Work muscles in functional quadrants rather than individually
- Integrate the musculature from the legs up through the spine
Fourth Session
- Connect front and hind ends through the barrel
- Enhance horizontal line cohesiveness
Fifth Session
- Reinforce the structural integration after the horse has practiced his discipline
- Maintain flexibility of the connective tissue while the horse's gait strengthens into a more cohesive and integrated movement patterns
